Robot is designed for these contests:
This robot is built using a Traxxas Stampede RC truck as the frame/base. The "brain" of the robot will be a Gumstix Verdex-pro XM4 computer on module, COM. This com will perform its own image processing of images obtained by an on-robot camera. Ultrasonic rangefinders, along with the camera, are used for obstacle detection.
